The City of Ann Arbor, in collaboration with Michigan Technological University, is testing rubberized asphalt in two streets this spring. The City will use a special asphalt made with recycled tires, an application that has the potential to extend asphalt life, significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions, and improve the user experience on Ann Arbor roads.
