October 23, 2026 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined by Wendy Welch, HSHV Director of Communications, for this week's Weekly Wag! Wendy introduces Mickey, a black and white puppy of about 9 pounds who was found in a plastic bin by the side of the road. She explains that the shelter is open seven days a week, encourages people to drop off stray animals, and describes the simple same-day adoption process that requires only an ID and a short household profile.
