May 15, 2024 ~ Lucy Ann Lance talks with Erin Huetteman, a senior at Saline High School, has been honored as the Saline Youth of the Year by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce. Inspired by role models like Amanda Coy and Kim Kasser, Erin has made significant contributions to her community through various service projects, including organizing a Toys for Tots drive that raised over $3,000 and collected 3,000 toys. She also served as student council president, orchestrating events such as homecoming and a sweetheart dance. Grateful for her recognition, Erin plans to study marketing at Michigan State University, with aspirations in sports marketing or owning a flower shop.
