May 21, 2024 ~ Lucy Ann Lance talks with Karen Delhey, apart of Michigan Guild of Artists & Artisans, celebrates the “200” exhibition at the Guttman Gallery in Ann Arbor celebrates the city’s bicentennial by featuring artwork that represents its past, present, and future. Organized by the Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans, the gallery is located downtown and showcases iconic city landmarks, University of Michigan buildings, and local homes. Initially opened in February 2020, the gallery had to close temporarily due to COVID-19 but continued to engage artists through online activities. The current exhibit includes work from 32 artists with pieces available for purchase. Running until June 29th, the gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm and also offers an online shopping option.
