DTE Energy offers a Natural Gas Balance Program allowing customers to offset emissions from natural gas usage through renewable natural gas (RNG) and carbon offsets. Participants can choose different contribution levels, with funds directed towards local RNG sources and forest protection for carbon absorption. This initiative supports Ann Arbor’s sustainability goals by providing affordable energy solutions while reducing carbon footprints.
